Freelancer & Hirer Gig-Economy Platform Migration

At EL Connect Pte Ltd, I spearheaded the digital transformation of their core gig-economy application. The platform empowers freelancers to seamlessly discover and apply for part-time jobs, manage their shifts with a built-in clock-in/clock-out system, and process earnings cash-outs directly from the app. I also integrated the hirer portal, allowing hirers to create and edit jobs, review applicants, approve or reject applications, and top up their wallet to fund job postings. I utilized Redux Toolkit with redux-persist for robust state management and offline persistence. I also integrated end-to-end UI testing using Maestro to guarantee stability across critical user flows. The optimized platform successfully scaled to handle over 50,000 downloads and 10,000+ Daily Active Users (DAU).
